- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆The Laramie Post Office is terrible!! I have had several packages with tracking numbers get misplaced - the tracking info shows 'notice left', but I had been waiting at home for them, and there has been NO attempted delivery and NO notice left!!! Even the package with 'signature requested' has not been delivered to my door for a signature!!!! I'm extremely upset at the mishandling of my mail. They charge an arm and a leg for postage, and can't do their job properly. I have been in to the post office several times, trying to get this sorted out, and the manager (who was in his office, according to the clerk) refused to come out and talk to me. It's very disappointing to see this lack of care and service, especially in an otherwise friendly and hardworking community like Laramie. EDIT: I was finally able to get the box maintenance/key man out to look at our mail box and see if mail was misplaced - nope no misplaced mail. He took the time to call our mail carrier up on the phone (right there on the street!!) and ask him where our mail was. The carrier informed him that there was still a HOLD on our mail!!! Keep in mind that I have been to the Post Office no less than 5 times, asking for mail, and each time was told that delivery had been resumed, and they had no mail for us!!!! So, blessed be the maintenance man, who got things straightened out, and told our carrier to ship all mail up to the office to be picked up, and resume delivery for our address. Bless him. Because the folks at the post office can't seem to get their ducks in a row. THANK YOU, Maintenance Man !!!!!!!!!!!!!By Heidi Williams, February 22, 2017
